If you are travelling to Manchester Airport follow signs for the railway station. There are regular trains direct to York from here. The journey is approximately 1½ hours. |
If you hire a car from Manchester Airport

Take the M62 towards Leeds. |

|
|
Join the M1 north until Leeds where it becomes the A1. |

Leave the A1 at the A64 and follow signs for York. |

After approximately 20 km take the A1036 towards York city centre. |
